What is Twinkl?
It’s a site with worksheets, bulletin board decorations, printable games, crafts, puzzles, PowerPoint presentations, books and more on TONS of topics. The website has millions of resources and you can download as many as you want for an affordable monthly fee. How We Use It
I was spouting the benefits of Twinkl from the DAY I found it almost 2 years ago, long before I was a brand ambassador. In fact I reached out to THEM because I loved it so much. I use Twinkl every week, sometimes every day.
I homeschool without very much pre-made curriculum. So for many of our subjects I just look up something that fits what we’re learning and print and go. For example this month we are doing anatomy and I needed an activity to learn the parts of the eye, so I search Twinkl for eye and we did this activity. I use it for Science, History, Geography, French, Health and sometimes Math, Literacy and Social Emotional Learning.
Most of the resources come in colour and black and white and most come in differentiated forms too for different levels. This works well in our homeschool as we can do the same activity with all three of my kids but at different ability levels.
