I Work With Brands
Please Note: This blog has been around since 2004 but I recently lost most of it due to malware. I am slowly rebuilding. I am definitely not new to working with brands. Although you may not see lots of brand posts here at the moment, know that I have worked with brands since before 2010.
I love working with PR and companies and welcome your interest in a partnership. I have a media kit I can send as requested but this page will give you a better idea of if your product/company would be a good fit.
NOTE ABOUT BOOKS:If you represent a nonfiction book, please pitch me through my book blog: (SITE CURRENTLY DOWN)
SMS Nonfiction Book Reviews. Your review will be posted there.
I do accept a small number of children’s books which would be reviewed on this blog.
You can check out my review team to see what we are interested in the most although you can send a pitch for something not mentioned.
Reviews
I only accept products available to Canadians. You must cover any shipping fees on your end. I will not accept a review item with COD. With few exceptions, you must send minimum $20 in product for it to be worth our time to test, review and promote. Items will NOT be returned. They may be kept or given away but will never be sold. Reviews are always honest and include a disclosure in accordance with the FTC guidelines.
Giveaways
If I enjoy a product I review, I would be happy to host a giveaway as well. If you want me to host a giveaway without providing me with a product to review, the fee is $50. This covers the work of giveaway hosting. Giveaways are run using rafflecopter and all giveaways must be open to Canada (but can be open to other countries as well.) You must cover shipping to the winner. Prizes of Gift Certificates or Gift Cards to an online store are welcome as long as the amount covers the full price of a few items in the store and includes shipping. Prize winners should not have to pay anything.
Other PR Opportunities
I am open to other opportunities such as Social Media Campaigns, Advertising, Sponsored Posts, etc. Guest posts are welcome too but please note the difference. If you will be adding links to a website that sells something, it’s a sponsored post and is subject to a fee. Guest posts are free but only link to other bloggers or those with a website that does not make money.
