Loacker is a brand of cookies that come in a variety of flavours and make snacking great. I’d like to share with you today a way that you can use the cookies to make my favourite dessert: Nanaimo Bars.

Nanaimo Bar Recipe

If you somehow don’t know what a Nanaimo bar is, here is the definition:

a dessert consisting of a crust of chocolate and cookie crumbs, typically covered with vanilla buttercream filling and a chocolate glaze.

These are by far my favourite dessert. I love the chunk of chocolate on the top, the cold buttercream and the crunch at the bottom. Such a great combination.
