Did You Know?

Did you know pregnancy and gum issues are often related? 70 per cent of all pregnant women suffer from inflamed gums, which is a sign of gingivitis.

At the pregnancy and postnatal program I go to, one of the classes we have is on oral health for ourselves and our babies because it’s just so important! In fact one of the things we learn is how dangerous gum disease can be for pregnant women. It can cause premature births and birth defects.

Oral Health is Not Just for Pregnant Women

Everyone needs good dental hygiene and not just so you look nice when you smile. Not taking care of your mouth can lead to all sorts of problems and diseases.

Poor Oral health has been linked to heart disease, stroke, diabetes, respiratory problems, dementia, depression, sleeping problems and digestion problems.

Crest and Oral-B Care About Your Mouth

Use Crest and Oral-B products to protect your whole body from the dangers of poor dental hygiene. The Crest Pro Health line is especially designed to protect against gingivitis and many other common mouth problems.

I’ve featured oral health products here before such as the review of the Oral B Professional Care SmartSeries 5000 Rechargeable Toothbrush. I also wrote about the Great Canadian Smile Survey back in 2011 which had scary findings!
