We were sent the Hamilton Beach Stack & Snap Food Processor to test out and review. I have wanted a food processor FOREVER so I was very happy to receive it. Nevertheless, I wanted to give a fair review so we tried it out with homemade salsa.
First let’s go over what comes with the Hamilton beach Stack & Snap Food Processor (pictured below.)

Hamilton Beach Stack & Snap Food Processor
The processor has a 10 cup capacity and is 500 Watt power. It comes in black and is sold by Best Buy Canada. It comes with a regular cutting blade, a shred/slice blade and a dough blade. It also has a scraper which you can use when using sticky substances to help scrape it off the sides.
The instructions are easy to use and we understood how it worked very quickly. My 9 year old and I took it out of the box and removed the plastic pieces and it was ready to go. No assembly required. It has four modes, one of which is OFF. It’s easy to understand which button to push.
Salsa
We tried to make salsa and it didn’t quite work but I think we worked out the problem. I’m not used to food processors! I was thinking we could keep mixing and mixing as we adjusted ingredients and spices but all we did was over process the tomato mixture into a tomato slushie. Oops! This was not the fault of the food processor though. It was the fault of the operator. Now we know better and the next time should go much more smoothly. To be fair, the instructions DID say it would chop in seconds.
As you can see my child was able to operate it with my supervision. I taught her to NEVER put her hands in the bowl because of the blades. The pieces come apart for cleaning, it couldn’t have been easier. It also has suction cups on the bottom so it won’t slide around while it’s chopping.
Now I just have to figure out where to store it!
