Solutions for Cold Feet

In this book you follow a little girl as she comes up with solutions to everyday problems such as cold feet, a missing shoe or getting caught in the rain. I like that the book encourages creativity and I found it worked best if we discussed what we saw in the pictures as we read the book. This is not one of those books where the words explain everything in the pictures so the book lends well to talking.

There is one part in the book that has no words for a few pages which I thought was a little confusing as it switches from words, to no words, and back to words again. But overall the book is cute. I think it would work well if you have kids who always expect you to solve their problems. Read the book and help them think of solutions to their common problems. Or the next time they have a problem, you remind them of the book and encourage them to think up their own solution.
