Free Preschool Website: Chalk Preschool

Spread the love

This post about a free preschool website is a sponsored campaign with Mums the Word Network and Chalk Preschool . All opinions are my own.

I’m always on the lookout for free preschool websites to help teach my children and let them have fun at the same time. When my older two were younger we did all kinds of fun teaching games and they entered school knowing their colours, shapes, numbers, alphabet and how to write their name. They loved learning and always wanted to learn more.

Now my son is preschool age and although he doesn’t seek out learning like my girls did, he does like to learn new things and he LOVES using the computer. He knows how to use it better than lots of adults!  Our newest site to use is Chalk Preschool, a preschool curriculum.

The site is simple to use and tailors the learning for your child’s age. Although typical preschool age is 2 to 5, the site allowed me to create an account for my 3 year old, 3 month old and 7 year old (I was just testing out the different levels.) Each kid got a different coloured classroom and the lessons, although mostly the same, were a bit different for each age. My 3 year old helped me test out the site.

Learning To Draw Lines

The art lesson for today was about lines. First he watched a video about what a line is and then another video asked him to practice drawing lines. He wanted to re-watch the video over and over while he drew.

Parent Portal

The parent portal gives you access to videos to watch about the preschool lesson plans and how it all works as well as some short advice articles.

The website would make a good addition to your preschool home learning needs. Visit the site once a day Monday-Friday to check out the videos and activities of the day, tailored to each child.

Also check out the Chalk Preschool Blog, and the Chalk Preschool News Room and consider liking Chalk Preschool on Facebook.
