Have a Kelloggs Breakfast or Snack when you are in a hurry or just looking for a healthier alternative! Kelloggs Canada has some newer products that are great for breakfast or snacks on the go.
As a Kellogger I was sent some products to try out. They came just before I had my fourth child in February which turned out to be a good thing! The products really came in handy.
Kelloggs at the Labour and Delivery Ward
When I went into labour a few hours before I was due to go to the hospital for a scheduled C-section, my husband grabbed the Kelloggs to Go Breakfast Shakes to give him the energy he needed to last the whole night and next day without any sleep (since it was 2am when we went in and he hadn’t gone to bed yet!) With 22 vitamins/minerals, 10g protein and 5g of fibre this meal replacement beverage came in handy. He also tried out the Special K Protein drinks (not pictured above.) He said they both tasted similarly. The protein drinks came in cafe flavours though!
Knowing I’m often hungry in between meals while at the hospital, I grabbed some NutriGrain Fruit Crunch bars and Special K Pastry Crisps for my hospital bag. The NutriGrain Fruit Crunch bars are a great breakfast alternative and I like them SO much better than the regular NutriGrain bars. They are so crunchy and fruity and they have a yogurt topping as well. The pastry crisps are only 100 calories and SO delicious.
Feel Like You Are Indulging When You’re Not
The Kelloggs Special K Chocolatey Red Berries cereal was delicious. I felt like I was indulging in a dessert instead of a healthy cereal. The chocolate pieces were just PERFECT and the berries were good, unlike some other berry cereals I’ve tasted. Even the flakes were delicious!
A Chip Alternative
When I saw the box of Salt & Vinegar Cracker Chips I was ecstatic because that is my favourite chip flavour. This healthier alternative to chips didn’t taste as good as I was expecting but it’s not bad. My preschooler really likes them actually. If you are committed to cutting out chips, I think they would make a good alternative and I’m sure you could get used to the taste if they aren’t your favourite at first.
