The product is exactly like a regular measuring tape that you would use to build furniture but it’s blank. No measurements. It has a special marker attached to it as well.
So if you are starting out with a new baby you can take measurements from the doctor or measure your child with the measuring tape and make a mark where they are. Then compare with a measuring tape to get the actual height if you are doing it at home. You can add other things too like ‘first tooth’ or ‘started school.’
If you already have been measuring your child on a wall or chart, you can add those measurements to the tape measure before you move or repaint. Or in my case they just fade away. Get one for each child to keep track of them all. Best part? Your child can take it with them when they grow up and move out!
