One of the best musicals of all time is celebrating it’s 40th anniversary this year – GREASE! Grease brings to life what being a teenager was like in the 1950s in a fun way. I love the movie and my tween daughters enjoy it too.

40th Anniversary of Grease

Paramount has released a special 40th Anniversary Edition of Grease featuring fully restored picture and sound and extra bonus content on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD and Digital.

The 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray combo packs include the film plus an all-new, in-depth exploration of the origins of Grease. Grease: A Chicago Story has new interviews with writer Jim Jacobs and original cast members of the Chicago show.

PLUS you will see the original song that the title sequence was animated to and an alternate ending found in the original black and white 16mm work print. Also included is over an hour of previously released bonus material including a sing-a-long, vintage interviews with the cast, deleted scenes and more. (the DVD has some bonus material but not as much.)

The 40th Anniversary Blu-ray Combo comes in collectible packaging with a small 16 page yearbook.

Also look for a Grease Collection which is available in a Steelbook Locker which includes the 40th Anniversary Blu-ray of Grease, as well as Grease 2 and Grease: Live! on Blu-ray for the first time.
