YOYO Lip Gloss has made mini retractable lip glosses for tween and teen girls that clip to their backpack and have a retractable “leash” so they can pull it to their lips, apply, and send it back to the clip. No more rooting around at the bottom of the bag to find the lost tube.
YOYO Lip Gloss products are available at Justice stores online and in the US and Canada.
There are other variations available such as ones with rhinestones and even rhinestone initials. You can get a clip with the initial of your or your daughter’s name on it. They come in four flavours:
- Big Bounce Bubblegum
- Cha-Cha Chocolate
- Kissable Kiwi
- Girly Green Apple
We haven’t tried the actual lip gloss yet as I’m trying to decide if my girls are old enough to be using lip gloss or not but I love the clip and the retractable leash and I know it would appeal to any preteen or teen that uses lip gloss. The clip seems to be well put together and the circle part swivels back and forth so even if you have to clip it to the side of your bag, it will still hang down.
The rhinestones aren’t as secure as I’d like so if your child is picking at it or rubbing it against something constantly, they will come off. I must admit the price is a bit steep too at $8-$10 regular price.
They are the perfect size for a stocking stuffer for the holidays but would make a great gift any time of the year.
